Covent Garden – Affordable Brunch

My number one place to stay in London is Covent Garden and the surrounding areas. If I’m visiting London, I’m going to do it properly and be right in the thick of it. Covent Garden is such a beautiful area of London but it can be super pricey. Brunch is such a popular concept amongst millennial’s and London knows that. This makes finding an affordable but top quality brunch spot quite hard!

That’s where I come in. Here are a few little picks that I think will make good spots for brunch near Covent Garden that won’t break the bank.

POD – Seven Dials – 4 Upper Martin Street

POD is a chain of modern cafes that boast their ability to make the best scrambled eggs in London. POD’s menu is very clean, simple and fast. If you and your friends have a train to catch but still want a special treat for brunch, POD is your place. With a very nature focused vibe, the outside of this POD is draped with greenery and appears inviting and exciting. Head here if you have little time but still crave fresh food!

Boki – Seven Dials – 20 Earlham Street

If you want to visit Boki then you must book ahead to make sure you nab a table. This small, independent venue is popular amongst locals and for a good reason. With a classy interior, perfect for planned brunches, this place is surprisingly affordable. The coffee prices are really good for an independent spot and the food carries this theme on. Their menu is online so please click the click in the title and have a look. The classic avocado on toast with a poached egg is done with flare and artisan ingredients and only costs £9.50, what a bargain.

Family Treats

Creme De La Crepe, Covent Garden Piazza, Unit 29

Serving both savoury and sweet crepes, this spot is perfect for a family visit because who doesn’t love crepes? Creme de la Crepe is right in the heart of Covent Garden meaning that it is the perfect place to start your day out in London. They also serve a range of smoothies so if you’re in a healthy mood your needs are also catered for. Again, for the position in Covent Garden, this place is actually really affordable with the average Crepe costing around £6.

Avobar – Covent Garden – 23-24 Henrietta Street

Here the focus is on the beauty of natural food and “superfoods”. They have an amazing selection and although the most pricey option in this little list, it can act as a treat without being too harsh on the bank. Most of their dishes include an avocado including the avo-burger – where the burger buns are made of avocado! They have a selection of gorgeous smoothies and coffee and this place is all about beauty. The decor of the restaurant is bright and green and very natural. A lovely spot in Covent Garden!

I think that is all for now in this list! I might do another one based on more expensive spots for brunch. As always, I have not tried everywhere on this list but I have researched these places and read all the reviews I can to draw these conclusions!
